The Net’s five-fold objective is:
What to expect
Before the meeting: On Friday and Saturdays The Net starts at 8pm. On Tuesday it starts at 7pm. Before we start, usually a couple of hours early, people start setting up and practicing. Thirty minutes prior to the start of The Net everyone relaxes their duties and we all come together for prayer for about 15 minutes. Then we all focus on everyone as they arrive for the evening. So grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and open your heart.
The meeting: The Net has a relaxed and flexible format. Each night is an adventure. We will start with a prayer or greeting and the band will rock with some pretty intense worship songs. We may open the meeting up for a report from someone about something the Lord has done in their life recently. This may be pre-scheduled or impromptu. The MC will make some announcements and welcome guests. Could we have a drama following? Maybe! Could we just stop everything and minister to people with special needs? Yes! We will try to be open to what the Lord may want to do on any night. The adventure continues...
The message: Our speaker will then come and share a relevant message. This is often comes from our director but it could also be one of our ministry interns our one of our Net leaders that speaks. Presentations each week are engaging, interactive, and multimedia in approach. Occasionally a guest band or visiting speaker will present.
Closing: Sometimes we may close the meeting with an invitation or a time of special ministry or worship followed by hang out time and some fun.
• to reach this generation of young adults
for Christ.
• to see young adults established in a life
reflecting Biblical Christian values.
To see young adults influenced
Biblically in the way they think about the
real world – about career, relationships,
history, right and wrong, leadership, and
ultimately demonstrate uncom-
promisingly the relevance of the
Bible to everyday life.

• to introduce young adults to the joy of
true Christian community and
fellowship.
• for young adults to experience the Lord’s
presence in worship and to grow to
appreciate the special expressions of the
power of the Holy Spirit.

• to equip and develop a new
generation of leaders for our nation,
the church, america's institutions
and businesses.
